Virtual Pessimism
I spend a fair bit of time in Second Life, both for work and as recreation. One of the things I find a little strange is how much people in it seem to complain about it, in world, on blogs, forums, everywhere. It foxes me… if they don’t like it, why use it? So they must like it no? So… why complain about it quite so much? Where are all the “Oh wow, this is actually quite cool/awesome/amazing” comments?
I guess positivism sounds less cool than pessimism?
